She was a very bright student during her school and college days. She was involved in extracurricular activities debates, scouts and guides, and cultural activities during her school and college days. She has got NCC A certificate.

Srushti cleared and topped among women candidates in her first attempt. It was her childhood dream to become an IAS officer. Her optional subject for the UPSC 2018 exam was Sociology. Srushti secured 93.4% in her class 12th exams.

Srushti never took any coaching for civil services, she studied from online study materials. She kept herself away from social media to focus on her studies.

Furthermore, Srushti Jayant Deshmukh is the daughter of Jayant Deshmukh (father) Engineer working with a private company and mother's name is not known yet but she works as a pre-school teacher. After completing High School she graduated from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal with B.E.(Chemical Engineering).
